Welcome to the home page of the South Birmingham Branch of the Guild of Silk Painters.
In conjunction with the Staffordshire & Shropshire Branch we recently organised the Silk Festival 'Silk Art to Wear'
at South Staffordshire College / Rodbaston Campus (formerly Rodbaston College), Penkridge, Staffordshire during
the weekend of Friday 31st July, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August 2009 and, as the saying goes 'a good time was had by all'.
To launch the weekend, Susan Brisco gave a talk entitled 'Dyed Kimono Treasures' and during the weekend, a comprehensive workshop programme covered an exciting range
of silk painting techniques and projects.
